Female Betta problem

Actually - "Constance" is gorgeous, and #3 in my female betta heirarchy. There is a male betta "Amadeus" in the tank as well - it is a community tank with others in it. It is very peaceful, with no fin nipping or territory issues (well planted, with several places to colonise). I really don't want to breed, as I believe it is quite an involved process. However, with 5 other males to choose from, if I wanted to, there is no lack of suitors! (we have 16 bettas in the house - we are addicted!)

hmmm... i wouldnt put males with females. to many aggression issues can arise, even if the tank is heavily planted.

good luck with your females!

I've kept many males with females, some dont do well, but some completely ignore the girls(exept for a flare every-now-and-then).

I'd love to see a pic of your girl,Sorvan :)

bettagurl - I am marginally better with a camera than I am at cutting bread (suffice to say, I am NOT allowed to cut bread or cake or anything of that sort). However, I plan to practise tomorrow, having read hints elsewhere on this forum. So stay tuned..... (all my girls and guys are gorgeous! Can you tell I am a proud momma?)
