Nice bettas, sorry about ya lovely gal there getting sick.
Also, just a small comment on the 3 pellets twice a day thing, that depends on the bettas size, pellet size, & how nutritious the pellets are.
Feed them a mix of different pellets (if possible) & maybe 4 to 7 pellets at a time, instead of 3. Along with some flakes, frozen and/or live foods during the week, with one day to fast.
I mean not to say the 3 pellet feeding is incorrect, as it does work for small bettas or bettas that don't eat much at all, I just find for my bettas a half dozen pellets are more suitable & they actually look fed.
