Female betta..

When it comes to female Betta setups it really depends on their individual personalities. I've seen both ends of the spectrum and can say it all comes down to their personalities, hiding spots and plenty of room to establish themselves.

How big is your Koi and whats their aggression level? Koi's are usually more laid back when it comes to Angelfish but I would keep an eye out to make sure he doesn't nip your Bettas.

Sounds like everything's going good and your Bettas are really pretty.

Yes, they are very funny to watch interact, etc. It might be because of how friendly/fearless the two platys and 2 mollies are, plus the 4 zebra danios are good dither fish. It's hard for me to do tank maintenance because they're all right there in/around your hand, gravel vac or bailing pitcher. Even my 3 siamese algae eaters and little honey gourami aren't too skittish.

The new koi angel is awesome. This is basically a replacement fish to a larger koi angel I had a few weeks ago. He didn't act right when I got him and it turned out the LFS had problems with the whole batch from the breeder. Anyone who bought one got their money back. The new one is smaller and much more active. Body is about the size of a quarter.

Nice female bettas! If you put a gourami and a betta together, be very careful. I've seen stories of gouramis ripping betta fish to shreds. Some were pretty gory. So always be on watch. It might work, it might not.

I have two bettas currently as well. I'm going to give away one of them because she lives in my 38g community and all the fish make her uncomfortable and nervous. She's probably the most timid betta I've ever had.

Good luck with the sorority and watch the bettas closely to make sure no one is getting bullied and all of them get enough food.
