I have one very mature female (almost 2" long) that has a HUGE belly. I can see the little baby eyes in her gravid spot, but for some reason she is not dropping. She has been in the "tank of solitude"-basically, its just the baby guppy tank and she is in a divider- for over two weeks now and doesn't look like she is getting any bigger or closer to the drop. Do you know why progress has stopped? all water chemistry and temp is the same for both tanks. Its driving us crazy because we want to put her back in the regular tank, but don't want to lose all her babies. Any advice on how to get her to drop or confirm that nothing bad has happened with her pregnancy?
