aside from the standard jave moss and java fern does anyone know of any other ferns or mosses that will survive in the aquarium? I recently found a neat sellaginella fern (i don't have a common name) and i was thinking of buying it for a house plant and then maybe seperating part of the plant to see if it would survive as a ground cover in my tank.

Water sprite is a common, easy to grow fern. And Christmas moss is a much prettier (imo) alternative to java moss. Ricca Flutians are nice ground cover, in good conditions individual leave will have O2 bubbles form on them giving the appearance of white tips and oxygentating the tank.
