What do you think, "Cichlasoma" festae or C. urophthalmus?

Thanks.

Looks like Uropthalmus to me. Nice fish!

The spot on the end of their body is larger than the Festae.

Definatly uropthalmus. In Festae's some don't even have those bars if kept as a solo specimin. Mine have a vertical line of spottage and in the center spot there is one on top of that, that is very dark. Also you would notice that there are no specs of blue on their dorsal or anal fins.

H.T.H.

Definately Uropthalmus. Also the most current classification is Amphilophus Festae not Cichlasoma.

Festae will show bars when kept alone depending on the sex. Males loose them and females keep them.
