I was wondering if it would be o.k to put a fiddler crab in my aqurium would it be o.k with the fish?

No, and it won't be okay in the tank either way. Species vary, but most available fiddlers must have access to the surface, and they will shred fins, if the fish don't go after them.

Uca spp. also require water of brackish salinity for optimal health.

anyway, the rule is claws and fins dont mix.
see that huge claw that the fiddler has? well he will catch and kill your fish. a good idea would be to get another small tank, like a 10 gal and you can get a pair of fiddlers. build them a "beach" and have the rest be water. they're cool little crabs, but they need to be on their own.

Yes on both counts. As to the second question, however, one should be aware that specifically formulated foods are available on the market (namely, Hikari's "Crab Cuisine" and HBH "Crab and Lobster Bites"); I would provide a variety of sinking pellets, granules, frozen formulas, and the like.

The dominant claws of male fiddler crabs exist almost purely for purposes of intraspecific visual communication. Nonetheless, most specimens are quite capable of capturing the occasional fish.

i decided tp put a pair of fiddlers into my 20g with my angel pair, and over nmoght they killed my alpha male, big loss for the female, but i got her a new hubby
