Hi, about 3 months ago I purchased 3 lace gourams, they were small just under a inch long for my 4 foot community tank, they are now about 1.5 inchs long and recently two of the fish have started to be aggresive to each other ,they square up as if they are going to do some jaw grasping but at the last moment one or the other gives way and shows a side profile to the other with all fins erect .The other fish swims away from the scene ,are they just establishing a pecking order or is it possible some breeding could happen.
Thanks

Hi,

Yep, they're just estabilishing a pecking order. When I got two Three-Spots and a Paradise fish they were fighting for about a week, but then everything settled down.
