F-8s are best in brackish water, so Corydorus are out on that count alone. F-8s are active and curious and hungry. Ever seen a Cory with no dorsal and no caudal? Try housing w/F-8s.
Most puffers are best alone, including most F-8s. But they do seem to get along with bumblebee gobies pretty well. If the tank is roomy enough and there are refuges for the gobies, it could well work - many folks use this pairing.
