Filament Glassfish <---- Cool fish

Niko is looking at FW fish under his own power? then again, they can be brackish.
They can 'survive' apparently in brackish conditions according to the reports they receive but that is applicable to other species of glassfish. The one we are dealing with...While some glassfish are found in slightly brackish waters, this species is from the opposite – soft, acidic blackwaters.
That said, I've seen it kept successfully in harder water, and there are also reports of it surviving life in brackish aquaria. It may well be found in a range of habitats in nature. Go for a pH of 6-7, with a hardness of 1-8˚GH.

Most glassfish such as the humphead species have been found together with some loaches such as Yunnanilus brevis where water is soft and acidic.

They sure will work well in NikoFry's tank.  Go Snailscape!:headbang2: You know how to make us freshies happy.:grinyes:

aaaaahhhh, threadfin glassfish. have fun.
