Filstar Filters + RO Units

Are the Filstar filters any goos? I was thinking about getting the XP1 for my 20g. How quite are they? It will be in my bedroom so it has to be quiter than my Rena air pumps.

What kind of RO Unit will be good for my 20g tank? I may need one to help me with my "soon to be" planted tank. All I need is a small, cheap unit.

Filstars are very good filters, not sure how wuiet they are. I have one, but haven't set it up yet

Rena filter noise level

I'm running 2 XP2's and they make less noise than the Rena 100 air pump that runs with them. I do have them setting on one inch thick styrofoam. Stops what little noise they make from telegraphing to the enclosed wood stand.

Filstars are excellent filters, and others have seemed to comment thoroughly enough, so I'll just give you an idea of an excellent RO unit. The Kent Marine units seem to offer quite a bit of performance and still be reasonably priced. Any one of which will "do the job", but exactly which, is up to you.
