I have two filters on my ten gallon but that is just me. I have a penguin 125 that has been running on this tank like forever but last week-end this filter was really having a problem. I had to keep restarting it. So I figured that since it is so old that I would just get another filter for it. I got an aquaclear 20 which I really like. It is very quiet(which is very important since this tank is in my bedroom) and runs like a champ. The old penguin 125 is still on the tank and has now decided to keep working. So I have an aquaclear 20 and a penguin 125 running on this one ten gallon tank. I am hoping that the penguin 125 stays going long enough to seed the new aquaclear 20 that is now runnning on this tank too. I kind of like having both filters on the tank and the fish really seem to like it too.
