I am planning on setting up a 20 gallon tank with a 2 to 4 rams and couple small corys a small school of perhaps cardnials or neons. (have not really decided yet ) Also plan to have some live plants with co2. As for a filter I do have a Fluval 203. Would that be OK and enough water flow. I was also thinking instead get something like a Peguin 150B. Thanks for the advice on the filter.

My first choice for a 20g aquarium would be an aquaclear 30 along with a power head for additional water movement. The power head could also be incorporated into a co2 diffuser set up. My second choice would be either a fluval 205 or rena xp-1. After that I'd go with an eheim, but it all depends upon what you want to spend. That being said if your fluval 203 is in good working condition then go with that. If you need any parts then you can go to bigalsonline.com for them, but they are available elsewhere also. If I'm thinking right the 203 was rated for a 40g aquarium and shows a pump output of 180gph and a circulation rate of 110gph. That should be plenty in a 20g aquarium.
