I have a 125 Gal. 6' long tank with community fish in it I have 1 Aqua clear 110 and was just wondering if that is enough filteration for this tank or should i and another one.

4-moonlight gouramies
3-kissing gouramies
4-rianbows
6-tetras
6-otos
1-plecostomus
1-small spiney eel for now. will be moved in a month or so.
1-pygmy catfish
4-rainbow sharks

you will need to get another filter for your tank. two fully grown kissing gouramis will fully stock a 125.

FYI, you should keep a close eye on your kissing gouramis. males WILL fight, and they easily reach over a foot long, plus there is no easy way to distingush males from females until they spawn. males also have a tendancy to be aggressive toward other goumis in the tank.

On my 125 I have an Aquaclear 110/500 going on this tank as well as two eheim classic 2215 canister filters and the water is crystal clear and pristine. Just the Aquaclear only filters a little more then 100 gallons and that is with no media in it. If you run media in it, as most of us do then those numbers will go down. You definetly need more filteration. I would recommend a good canister filter to go along with the HOB that you already have.

a tank of that size, it would be best to stick with canister filters instead of HOB
