Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice.
I lost all my bookmarks in a comp crash and could not remember the name of this forum.
I decided on three Koi looking Goldfish but my wife forced one more on me, but I figured at least one would die anyway.
So far everything is healthy.
Ammonia levels are high but in the acceptable range on the test strips. I need to buy another air pump, because all of mine, are too noisy and rehook up the bubble wall.
I was able to adapt the Magnum filter to fit a pond waterfall pump and am trying to set that up for the Koi.
