Just to ask have you tried cleaning out the impellor assembly in your current filter?

Yes, I did try cleaning it. I took it apart cleaned it and re-assembled it but the niose is still there. I even tried a new impeller with no luck.

But seriously both the Marineland and the AC are on equal footing. The AC moves more water and offers more media options some ACs have run longer than Marineland has been a company. While the Emporers have more features, are easier to quick clean, and offer better biological filtration.

I had the Penguin 350 for around 2 years. I am think about trying out the Aquaclear 70 with an extra sponge for bio fiiltration. I guess I can keep the 350 as a backup. Hopefully Aqua70 along with XP3 will do the job.
