Filter Sponge

just clean it and be done with it. really no need to buy new ones unless its falling apart.

I do use them until they fall apart. I do not want to have to keep replacing them when I can just buy a sponge and clean it. I was just looking for ideas on other places to look for sponges.

that or in walmart's fish section. works beautifully for fine particle filtration.
