I just purchased a second XP3 filter for my 75G heavily planted tank...the whole redundency thing finally got to me. Anyway, I'm sure it's a matter of preference, but to those of you who have 2 filters with spraybars, where did you place your spraybars? I have an Amazon biotope tank with Discus, Cardinal Tetras, GBRs, Otos, and pressurized co2, so I don't want to have too much water movement, for both the fish and so not to off gas too much of the co2, but enough movement to benefit the overall filtration and the plants. Thanks for your help.

In my Amazon tank I actually placed the spraybar backwards against the glass. It really cuts down the current drastically.

I am also considering that if I get a second Rena filter, I will place that spraybar to be directly hitting a length of mopani wood. With that I get the cut in current, as well as a touch of active water softening.
