Filter too big?

I have two Eheim Professional II 2026 on my 75g tanks. Nothing wrong with overfiltering and those have an adjustable flow rate.

Can one over-filter? IMO not unless the fish are getting pinned against the front glass.

What's wrong with that? Makes them easier to observe.

I read some reviews a while ago about eihm canisters, there really good but thier flowrates aren't the best, becuase all the water has to go through the media, unlike most other canisters. I doubt you will have too high a flowrate, unlless you plan on keeping bettas or other delicate/ large finned fish.
