Filter???

I am thinking about starting a 75 gallon tank with in the year??
Probably African Cichlids
What would be a good filter for this size tank?
I do not have the tank yet but... I would like to get an idea of what this is going to cost?

For cichlids I'd go 10 x turnover per hour. Messy fish. Note that Cyberbeer has TWO filters. IMO you should really have two filters with anything over 55g. One at each end.

I like Eheim 2026 or 2028 myself, but those are pricey. Especially for two of them

Two AquaClear 70s would probably work. Thats a 600gph turnover.

Yes, two filters. I am running one Rena XP2 and one Aquaclear 110 on a 72G. I clean them alternately.
