I'll take that small filter in mind, it's cheap. But after rechearching this, I am kinda of stuck on seeing if I can make this happen successfully. I know I can make a regular aquarium salt, and fresh work well.

Brackish water is not water made with aquarium salt. It's made with marine salt. A BW fish won't survive in a tank with just salt in it.
