Filtration for 125 Gallon Tank

Filtration for 125 Gallon Tank 21 Minutes ago Hello everyone.

I'm in need of some advice. I just purchased a 125 gallon aquarium off craigslist. Woohoo! It came with a Cascade Canister Filter 700 and two HOB filters which look pretty cheap. I'm currently running an XP2 on my 55 gallon along with an Emperor 400 and was planning on moving those over to the new tank. The new tank will start off with 1 medium sized Oscar and 1 medium pleco. I plan on adding one more Oscar in the near future. Do I have enough filtration or should I look into getting another filter? I was looking at the XP4 and thinking this might be the way to go. Thanks for the help.

I would add the XP4 or a Mag 360 C Series.

xp4 is nice though i only have the xp3 here.... though i keep hearing people like rb rave about the c360.... if it was mine i would prob go with the c360 right now...

Thanks. I just purchased the XP4 and am pretty happy with it. Only problem is it seems to make a little more noise than I thought it would. Oh yea, I live in Colorado.

Here we go again ... I've got the best filter in the whole world (lol). You do see more and more about that c360 on here ... must be something to it!

Or you could go with one Fluval FX5 = filtration beast

What size tank do you have your FX5 on Vader? Is that the only filter on the tank? What is the output current like - is it tough to manage? Just laying the groundwork for my 150. Wanted to see what you thought of your FX5.
