Filtration for 30 Gal tank

if you have the money go for a canister and hob. its always best to have a back up just in case one fails. next would be 2 ac 50's

One ac 70 is plenty....Ac's are good powerful filters.

Canister was my vote, seems alot agree. When you say best, it kinda screws with the end results, just polling 101.

i'd go cannister, if you have the money go for two ehiem 2213 or an ehiem 2215 also you could look into Rena or the New marineland C series. i have a C-220 on my planted tank and think it does a good job.
