Filtration for nano planted tank

I set up my 2.5g nano planted tank today and am not sure what to do about filtration. Fauna will be a lone betta and possibly a couple shrimp. I like the idea of the TOM rapids mini canister but I think that would be too much flow for such a small tank. I'm also considering the Azoo palm filter. Anyone have any advice on which way to go for filtration?

Azoo Palm is the best nano filter I've used.

Yup Azoo is awesome, I have 2 2.5s with azoos on them.
