Filtration HELP!

Instead of the underground filter, i might just use the fluval and two rotating powerheads with a sponge on the intake.

what did you decide to go with? I just bought a fluval 305, best looking one at petco, havnt even opened it

I just purchased a fluval 305 and its great. It cleared my tank up. I'm still going to add two rotating power heads with sponges on the intakes for extra filtration

You don't need the UGF with cichlids as they are diggers. It will be exposed at different times and will render it ineffective. You also don't need a lot of water movement but you want "some". One rotating head would be enough on a tank that small.
