Filtration Ideas?

Hi, I'm setting up a half land half water aquarium... I'm just wondering how I can filter the SAND that I am going to use. The water is going to be about 6" deep. Any filter suggestions?

What I mean by filter the sand is filter the water without moving the sand

any filter... try a fluval sumbergible filter. However, throw in some poly wool in the sides so that in case sand gets kicked in, its okay
