Fin Rot or Dempsey destruction?

ok update on my oscar i woke up again this morning and he is almost dead my dempsey sucked off most of his scales and fins he looks horrible hes not even moving except his twitching tail i am now 98% sure he will not live threw this my dempsey is still picking at him in the corner and i tried to feed the and they wont eat food wont even distract the dempsey what should i do?

this has got to be the saddest thing to watch hes trying to stay down and away from him but he keeps floating towards the top and the dempsey follows =(

You need to seperate them plain and simple take one back to the store or put one in a seperate tank.

i planned on taking him back to the lfs today but they wont take him now and i have nowhere to put him...i guess im just looking for a less stressful way to put him out of his misery

is there anything i could put in with my aggressive jack dempsey in the future or she i just leave him alone he would probly rather at least the company of another jd (female of course)right?

JD have a good amount of little teeth, mine actually look like piarrhana. I have an Oscar in with mine but he is enormous atleast 3 times the size of the JD and they do fine. There is also lots of room. I think that my JD have been nipping at my Cat but that one is pretty big too.
