Fin Rot??

The test kit is about 3 months old and it is always the same results on my test as their test. The fish definitely has fin rot because he definitely fits all descriptions of it and matches pictures that I looked up on the net. I know that the miracle cure probably isnt gonna work so I really dont know what to do. What can I naturally add to help? Is salt okay for the corys or are they sensitive to it? It is getting worse and I dont know what to do. Are water changes still recommended even though my water is okay?

Thanks again for all the help

You don't need salt in your aquarium unless you are undergoing an ich treatment with salt and higher temperatures.
Stick with your own API testing, just make sure you follow the directions explicitly.
Your nitrates are on the low side, so make sure they don't go down to 0. Perhaps stand off on so many water changes, or change less. I agree with TKOS in that your cory is probably pretty stressed--they truly thrive in groups. I have 5 in one tank, 6 in another. Happy little boogers, no problems.
And it wouldn't hurt to pick up some algae wafers, they sink to the bottom like pellets. There are several different brands. Good luck!!

Alright. I know that I have salt in the aquarium right now. Should I do a water change to get rid of some of the salt in there or should I just leave it alone for a while as long as the water is testing okay. I am definitely gonna go get some of those pellets and I would like to add a 3rd cory but do you think I should wait until this one gets better or go ahead and get him some more company?
