Finally a BIGGER tank!

it would since it would stick out so much. to me 4 foot says waste of space the fish would much rather have side to side back to back space then up and down space. you are doing the hard part of taking it apart. cutting it would be easy then you take the left over from the side to make the support stripes for the top.

In all honesty I probably won't be taking the entire tank completely apart to reseal it. Really only one factory seam needs to be split, cleaned, polished and re welded. The bracing is all coming out so I can have piece of mind(1.5" of weld instead of just 1" of weld).

And as big as this tank seems, it is only another temporary tank until they require something larger, but in 3 years I will have 16ft x 10ft x 7ft and 10,000g at my disposal, so if this tank will last till then, great, if not I will look for something in the 1500g-2000g range to get me by...

I just can't justify THAT much work on a temporary setup, even tho the to-do list is massive as it is...

Plus when the big guys need a bigger tank, this one will make a beautiful planted discus tank 

Here is a picture of their current setup:

I think no matter the orientation of the new tank, it will be much better than what they've got...

Nice current setup, buy I can see why u want a bigger grow out tank for your small fry...........lol:)

Just to see what else is out there, anyone wanna post a few pictures of their 300g+ tanks? Maybe give me some ideas? Or just show them off to everyone? Lol

I wish I could, if I had a tank even bigger than a 72G...............................:)
