Finally a BIGGER tank!

There is a book I have on tropical fish, and their care, and they have these amazing ideas for filtration for large tanks, but by large tanks I am sure they don't mean ur size tank, but it could work for yours. I will take pics of it when I get back home, as it is hard to explain.

Gonna go pick up my 2 bottles of novus #2 and my wet sandpaper in 600, 800, 1000, and 1500 grit tomorrow.

This will be the first supplies I will purchase for this tank, and so far the total is $26.10 before tax. So far total cost of tank is $326.10.

I will keep you guys updated on the work and totals.

SO cheap......................................:).............................and so lucky.........................................:)

Wow, I spent a grand total from my savings as a 14 year old of $1000, for a top of the line lighting, top of the line filter, and tank, and stand(which turned out to be useless).:D

But now, I guess its ok, cuz I am getting a 2X4 rack for fish tanks in my garage so I will can get 3 55Gs for breeding or 6 20Gs or mix and match.

Well I just sent an email to Brandon at tenecor for some advice. I wanna see from an expert what the best way to go about the rebuild is.

Thought I'd post some pictures of my GATF that's going in the 400g once he is grown out...

He is getting much bigger now and eating a lot more and more viciously!

Still hard as heck to get a good in focus picture because he moves so darn fast but here he is...

Congrats man. Forget about the tank...enjoy this moment for as long as possible :thm:

Congrats! +1 on forgetting the tank, that can wait until later.

Well my beautiful daughter was born tonight and I held her in my arms for the first time and she is the most amazing thing in the world!

She was a big girl weighing in at 9lbs 10oz and 19 3/4".

I'm still just absolutely overwhelmed with emotion ad excitement to have this precious little girl finally here. I dot know why to say.

Just the best thing in my life! It was so life changing seeing her. Man. I'm speechless.

Of to work in 4 hours. Can't wait to get off and see her.

You all have a fantastic night!

Not very many replies now, guess I need to start talking about the tank some more eh? Lol

Well I did sand half of the rear panel and one side panel by hand with 600 grit wet, just as a test, then buffed it with novus 2, and surprisingly enuff it looked great even with just the 600. I'm sure it will be crystal clear with the 1500 plus novus. Can't wait to see how nice this things gonna turn out!

Btw I also removed 99% of the outside trim panels, which went very smoothly! Looks much better w/o them.

Ordering bulkheads and drilling holes in the next few days as well.
