It would be pretty expensive because even as close as we are it would have to be overnight air. I don't have a ups or fed ex account either.

have you thought of using Expanding foam for deco?? Have used it in several setups
over many years and the only fault I've found is the bouyancy.. Can be any size shape or color . Does not require any type of sealing curing and has no effect on the water.
I'm going to use it on an in wall 125 probably for rifts. but the tank will be viewed from both sides so really complicates the design.
As to filtering I'm going to use two mag 350 along with an auto water change system as well as a gravel purge . Since I will be using tap water for the setup I should be able to go whole hog with the purge since the reservoir will be a "veggie filter". The design is becoming very complicated due to the two sided view.
Any thoughts on deep sand beds and plenum systems ?? Have used these on marine but in my experience with FW an auto change and purge does the job better and with less complications.. The goal is a self cleaning setup in spite of have lots of oversized digging fisjh . gary

Well I've never used a plenum design but I do have a RDSB in my current sump and in the display a DSB. I've never had any problems with gas fumes releasing and killing all of my fish lol. I have seen bubbles release but they float to the top and pop into the atmosphere.

I know there are more and more people using drylock masonry sealer on backgrounds (tinted w/ cement colorant) and it seems to be standing up well from the threads I've read about it on. Don't know if any of your monsters would be inclined to eat the background, but if not, it might be an option that would let you not have to mess with the cement and associated pH issues.
oh, okay, that is fine. i just got a silver/blue ghost platinum proven breeding pair on aquabid for $90 yesterday.
That's cool, I've got 2 breeding pairs left and 5 juries growing out. I had like 300 when I was breeding them and selling them but I'm getting out of it now.
So anybody have any ideas at all about the tank? Something you've been dying to try but haven't been able to and want to see it done?
