Just when I was about to crack it open, I found a baby snail next to the clutch. It's hard to see on the pics since he is almost tucked under it. I'll post more pics later. :) IMG_0712.JPG

I have always been under the impression that the babies MUST hit water as soon as freeing themselves from the clutch to insure survival?
They actually move to the water pretty quickly. I've put the clutch on a smaller piece of styrofoam and they are pretty much falling in at this point. I have 6 in the breeder so far.
