I finally finished it, I think. I switched from live plants to not live over the winter. It took quite a while to sell off the equipment I no longer needed and get it set the way I wanted. Then came the fish that I added a few at a time and 4 weeks of quarantine for all. I'm really enjoying it and I hope you guys do too.

I had just cleaned it and my 2026 so the water was still just a bit cloudy. I'll continue to get better pics.

very nice! how did you attached the upside down branches? I like them alot! and is that algea growing on them? cool looking.

I have the branches attached to zip ties or twist ties that are then attached to my two light supports inside the wood canopy. I would take a pic for you but then that would ruin the illusion of tree roots.

Yes that is algae growing on the wood. The pleco doesn't clean it all and the branches are to delicate to scrub. It really doesn't bother me though.

Wow, love the look! I bought a huge piece of manzanita with 6-7 branches on it and was thinking of turning it on the tips of its branches to have a similar effect. I like your idea a lot better :) I like how the algae looks on the branches, I'm not a fan of extremely squeaky clean looking tanks. That is one beautiful angel, too! What other fish do you have in there that you may have not snapped pics of?

You know you are never done but it does look nice , Very unique :)
