Didn't think i'd ever say that but im finally down to one tank. Its just to much work for multiple tanks. My future plan is to have a nano reef along with the planted tank that i have now.

Is there anyone else out there that has gone overboard and had to cut back?I think I spent 4,000 or so just in two years or so but I gotta admit, i really liked caring for all of my tanks but they were just taking over.

Ha! Sometimes I think that I may be heading that way. Overboard that is. I just finished setting up tank #5 and I'm already planning tank #6. The thing is, now that my kids are grown, I have extra rooms. And a little extra money too.

Yeah.. I feel that way! If I didn't put limits on the number of tanks I allow myself to keep...I think the whole house would be filled with them! The house would probably be one huge fishtank! Lol :)

I had to take four of my tanks down to make time for our new baby, i'm down to three tanks at the moment but i'm in the middle of setting up a 150g reef.

I was up to 5 tanks and am happily down to 3. Same problem. They took up too much time. I really like having tanks but the time they need is too great.

Q

me too! I was up to 4 tanks but am now down to 2 and think I will keep it that way. I want more so I can have more species but need the time for other pieces of my life...2 is manageable..

I just got my fourth -- 29 gallon, 12 gallon, 10 gallon (the new one) and 3 gallon. My aim is for a 90 gallon amazon biotope, with the 29 devoted to small asian fish. I have to admit, they do take time, but I love it.

I was down to two boarded tanks for years. Which meant I didn't have any tanks with me anymore.
If things change, I am willing to give up all the fish for adoption. HOWEVER if these circumstances arise again and no non shipping homes were found for the catfish, they are staying with me ( err boarded until I have a home).

pfft... amateurs. . . .

:D just kidding. I only have 1 tank as well, and it already takes up a lot of my time. . .

I'm getting married next year, and I'm hoping to setup my BIG dream tank (96 wide, 30 deep, 28 high fish only marine tank), when we get a house. I'll keep my 90 gallon reef going as well.
