FINALLY! Easy homegrown phytoplankton!

Hey y'all. I made the stupid decision last month buying a professional phytoplankton reactor for around $250, only to realize what I purchased was a tall green bottle and a flourescent light bulb. I feel so ripped off.

Dont get me wrong, its really high-quality and professional looking, but it is way over priced for what I received.

Well anyways, i stumbled upon this here website last month:

I ordered an algae disk to start my culture immediately thereafter, which arrived 2 weeks ago. Now, I have a great culture of the phyto growing in my office closet. This is a much better deal than DT's phytoplankton.

So if you're ever curious about growing your own phytoplankton, or just looking to save money, I highly recommend growing your own with the directions given on that site.

I have devoured that site. Absolutely love the information that he has on there. I have purchased all the necessary hardware for when I start brewing my own phytoplankton. I am not at the stage of needing it yet, and plan on getting my hands wet a couple of months before I do so I can get the "brewing" system down.

Is there any way you can return that other set up?
