Have you texted your water? Post actual values for the results, especially nitrogen compounds, good is not really an accurate value.

I think you are adding too many fish, too fast. Doing any QT? My experience has been to start discus in a very well established tank.

My levels are all great with nitrates never going over 5-10ppm. I'm not going to try and mess with pH. This tank is well established though with pre-cycled substrate, filter, and plants.

I've been trying to keep the water as clean as possible after watching lots of discus care videos and my nitrates never go far above 10ppm. My only concern is that the plants need that nitrogen. I know discus really appreciate frequent water changes but what level of nitrate would you all recommend is best for plants and discus together? I am also using a regimen of seachem ferts that I will soon hook up to a doser. My next move is buying a second Fluval 3.0 because I feel like the one isn't enough for this large of a tank as well as getting a timer for the co2 regulator.

Came back after being gone three days and did a sixty percent water change and decided to move some plants and see if the driftwood is waterlogged yet which it isn't.

Added some Amazon swords and got adult brine shrimp for them which all the fish loved.
