Finally got my light!!

ok so I finally got my light for my 5 gallon and I can finally get it planted.

Question is with java moss how do I attach it to my gravel so it grows accross like grass? I've already got some growing on a piece of driftwood which was easy caz you could tie it down but don't know how to keep the java moss on the gravel.

Also How do you gravel vac with java moss covering the bottom won't it get sucked up the tube?

as for the gravel vac dont put it into the gravel just go over the top of it. i use slate or something to attach it when i want it on the bottom of the tank.

I've used slate before and that should work fine. Currently though I have some java moss making an exodus from some driftwood and starting to creep out into the gravel. I think as long as its growing low enough to the gravel it will eventually start out on its own.
