I no longer have the oscars, silverdollars, or tinfoil barbs. I gave them to my dad's 150. Now in my 25 I have 1 severum. 1 Angelfish, and 1 sun cat.

Glad to hear it. Might recommend altering your sig to reflect such a change, so as to prevent any further misinterpretation. Sorry for jumping to conclusions.

wish i could say i actually believed that was the truth...

how bout some full tank shots?

unfortunately BFK that set up is not appropriate for an of your fish

Perhaps we can apply gatotsu's advice to your 125 gallon that people have been urging you to upgrade for a very long time...and what about the plecos and pictus in the 25 gallon?

I don't mean to be out of line but I agree with gatotsu, I can't say "Have fun with your new fish" when it's put in a less than ideal tank setup and when another tank isn't on the right path as well...have you been looking around for a larger tank for the arowana and RTC?

YES DUH!

Sorry, I don't mean to be intrusive or rude (and I expect the same back in your responses) but getting a tank large enough to support all those fish is going to cost you thousands and most younger people don't have that money. And I'm just going to guess that your parents aren't willing to throw down all that money for a large tank (we're talking hundreds of gallons here). So rather than buying new fish for a tank that will also need to be upgraded soon, why not save that money for a new tank? Maybe it's just me but I think that's why some of us are a little apprehensive about this buy...

Again not trying to be a buzz kill, but after looking at the pictures in your gallery BFK, I was wondering the same thing about that jardini. I did notice that its eyes are quite severely rotated downward, typically suggesting less-than-adequate conditions, and ultimately foreshadowing an early demise. (and no, it wasn't just looking down)

None of us are trying to be mean, and I believe jpappy has covered that nicely. Given the fish you've shown interest in, we're all just concerned for the well being and longetivity of these fish. Granted, you've started taking a shining to severums, which is a step in the right direction, but there are several steps yet to make. Good luck.
