Finally got that salt tank...

dirty glass.....

that all has to come off tonight ive decided

LOL:hitting:

i was trying to say good job, look how far you've come!
....but that works too :nilly:

My male starting to look rather depressed. He hangs out at the top of the tank where they used to host as a pair. He only comes down when my female leaves the nem. Then he is glued to her side till she goes back and he retreats to his spot. Is it normal for only one clown to host?

He has been in it before when the female wasn't looking and she noticed and then chased him out. He gets brave and takes food from the nem back into his lonely spot to eat.

Perfectly normal. She will let him in eventually. In my case I really felt that my female was protecting the male but I had a haddoni carpet that have a potent sting. Once she acclimated herself to the nems sting she started showing the male what to do and let him in. I know its pathetic to observe but they will work it out.

I hope so. I feel so bad for the little guy. She sleeps in the nem at night so hopefully she let's him in soon

Oh no.. Poor pabst is on the couch :(
Hopefully she stops being mean and/or protective and takes him in soon.

I was paid today....maybe I'll go buy a new coral :x

I don't have an addiction or an obsession, just supporting local small business around the holidays......of course

Here is a list of corals my LFS got in on 11/8

big green tongue corals
green bubble and branching bubble corals
combo lps rocks
red goni
pink paly
blue mushrooms
red mushrooms
green hairy and frilly metallic green mushrooms
awesome red and green welsophyllia
hammers, frogspawns, and torches
favias
few new clams
lots of new leather corals
cleaner and fire shrimp
linkia and tile starfish

any opinions?

Bubbles get big and can inflate significantly even when they are small. They also are pretty aggressive. Euphyllia need room too. Nice corals but you should be sure you like them enough to occupy a decent amount of room.

If it were me favias, wellso and LPS combo rock (depending what is actually on it) would be my pic. No linkia stars. It will almost definitely starve.
