Yes, the totally red one is what the lfs called a fire cherry, he's about 1.5 inches. The males don't lose the color at all, they're always like that.
And the one with a red stripe is an odessa. The picture doesn't do him justice. If you ever see them in the lfs, get them, even though they may look drab. Give them some tlc and beef heart once a week, and watch them blossom. And they are similar in nature to gold and cherry barbs, not mean at all.
