Finally!! Tank PICS

Nice Captain! I normally would "Boo" the "tall" canopy but it works due to the height of the tank. Very nicely done. Yeah, it'll fill in nice once the CO2 gets going.

MrMup are you talking about the 72 or 25? If you mean the 25 the background plant, left and right is ambulia (limnophila sessiflora). It's taken quite a bit of pruning to get the left side that thick. The grassy plant in the front is dwarf sag, sagittaria subdulata.

Beviking I agree that tall canopies often look out of place. I got the tank custom made for the space because the 15 gallon I had originally (12" tall) looked really weird.

Nice. I really like the height of the 25g stand. It matches the tank very well (must need a stinking step stool to work in it. I would! :p)

Is that some hydrocotyle sp. I see in there? It'd be really nice to see a carpet of that.

Whats the substrate in there?

CH, it's not perfect but.... :D

Leopardess I purposely made the stand tall so that it would be easier for me to work in. Also easier to see when standing or sitting. I'm 6'8 so don't need stools or anything for my tanks.

Yes there is some hydrocotyle in the front right and back middle. It grew quickly at first but has slowed down a bit. I like a lot though so will definitely be letting it grow and fill in more. The substrate in the tank is roughly 50/50 Flourite and Profile. The 72 is more profile, more like 65/35.

Cool thanks Ayrianth!

I know you made it tall:) I like it that way. I also like the stain you chose. It's more like what I wish my 125g stand were instead of light oak. Oh well.

Okay, makes sense that your stinkin' TALL!!! At a mere 5'2 and a half I couldn't even do maintenance on that tank! :D

BTW, I forgot to mention before, i like the rainbow pic - I think you caught him yawning:D
