I finally gave in and decided to buy a Python siphon kit. Carrying an 18g plastic tote filled with 10-12 gallons of water is back breaking work... this is the sweet stuff. I've been using one at work for a long time now, but never invested in one. I must say, I'm a happy camper. :-)

I will be buying one this week, possibly tonight since I just purchased 2 55's and 2 29's. I dont think I want to be doing those changes with a 3.5G bucket. That's what I've been using for my 55G and my 10. But any more now I am definately going for the python!

I just bought one too--it has not come yet, but after filling the 55 to test its water tightness, draining it, cleaning it, rinsing it, filling it part way, draining it--cloudy from substrate--and then filling it again, I just had to get one. I look forward to getting it, and saving my carpet from more soaking.

It certainly is a heck of a lot easier. :-)
