So, finally, I found a berried snowball shrimp in my 20G QT:) So excited;) can't see the eyes yet on the eggs, but still:D

It has been over 3 months and I haven't seen any berried ones, and I finally saw her yesterday. I can't seem to take a pic as she is under DW so its dark(shes hiding) so the pic comes out dark with just a white smudge:(

when should i move her? will a self-cloning cray eat the babies?

thanks!:) been waiting a long time;)
really surprised as it only took my blue pearls/rcs/tigers around 1 month

can't find her;(

Don't give up hope yet, keep an eye out for her. As for your crays eating the young, they may, it depends on how well fed they are. The thing not to do is move the berried female to a brand new setup. If you do have a spare tank, that is fully cycled and healthy, you can move her. However, I wouldn't do it unless you fail to see any young shrimp growing, after a brood has hatched.

its not a new tank, just a breeder net thing(1G) in the tank, so same water parms etc.....

usually i do that for all my other shrimps, well, i'll just wait and see

cray hasn't really moved since been placed in there

found her, still can't see eyes, and i found 5 more snowballs:) i originally bought 10 and they all disappeared until i found this feamle
