fine particle filtration

I didn't put in my post, which I should have, that I don't have room on my set up for an external filter at the moment - which I think from my google search the magnum is ?

Could I do better as regards an internal than the fluval (4 plus) ?

the floss i got from walmart. it was like 2 bux for a big thing of it. magnum is a great filter. they have a hang on back and one that sits under the tank.
