do anyone know about what kind of fish are good in this region to catch for my tank?

is this a good area for crayfish?

i'm looking into taking my hobbie up a stage or so...and plan on going out this spring/summer to my local lakes and camp ground and see whats out there.

any info on this region will be great.

Sun fish and bluegills are nice and don't get too big. Perch are good also.

There are crayfish all over new york, find small creeks. I live in Fulton and we even have crayfish here. have fun and good luck. :)

Whatever you want! Just don't be too boisterous when proclaiming you have a 6" smallmouth bass (or other gamefish, largemouth bass, walleye, northern pike, tiger musky, muskellunge, etc...) or endangered species in your tank. Its illegal to keep the gamefish under their stated legal size and it's illegal to keep any endangered/threatened species.
Good luck!
