i set up a 20g long tank. 3/4 is water and 1/4 is land. theres some hiding spots and some random rocks in the water along with 2 fake plants they can hangout on. the water temp stays at 75. i bought a heat lamp without a clamp lamp to use :duh: so all i have to do is order that.
the waters almost done cycling (its 5 inches at its deepest). what (if any) and how many fish could i have in there. ive heard of people having mountain minnows. could that work out?

Could we see pics? Pllllleeeasssee? :) :):grinyes:

you mean fire bellied toads?

not fir-bellies?

Maybe rosy red minnows? Thats what I had in my firebelly tank for a while, make sure you have a good filter though!

sorry i forgot the e, i was rushing =)
yes pictures as soon as i can, promise!

full tank. the blue gravel was extra so i figured id slope the land up instead of having a turtle dock or something like that.

showing the right side from above. the light-colored rock looking thing is the filter.

close up of the cave.

tell me what you think! all constructive criticism welcome!:)

That will do firebellys and fishies =) But I would ditch the land substrate and get reptile carpet, that stuff gets in the water and pollutes it real fast turning it brown and not good for the fish/toads. They dont burrow under substate so I dont think they would care.

Your tank looks likes its off to a good start.

However, NO, you can not keep any fish in your tank. With all the sand, decor, etc it equals to probably around only <5 gallons of swimming space, which isnt enough for any fish.
