When I was acclimating him.. he had really nice reds..

ive got mine, his name is Chipeto.
had him for almost a year, and has not grown at all. kind've weird.
either way, he's on a night crawler and shrimp diet...as those are
the only things he'll eat. it doesnt seem right, because worms dont really
provide much nutritional value at all...but i've tried other things and he's
not interested at all.

I lost my memory card to my Nikon D40, or i'd post
some pictures. he was about 9 inches when i got him,
and he's still the exact same size. I'm leaving for the U.S. Navy in three months,
and i'm a little worried of the care he'll recieve once i leave.
but what can i do other than cross my fingers and hope? haha.

Fire eel's are great pets, i love mine to death.
he will only eat whats given to him by hand, and has the
personality of a dog. he is, and will always be my favorite fish.
he even lets me "pet" him. hahaha

Worms are one of the best foods you can feed your fish, very high in protein. My old Fire eel would only eat worms.
