Hey guys. I just did a huge update on my firebellied toad chacho's tank. He was previously located in a measly 2.5 gallon fish bowl with a reptile water dish for his mini pond. I got him from school when my teacher didn't want the class pet anymore. He resided in one of those discovery channel grow a frog homes. I upgraded him to a 10 gallon but later moved him to the 2.5. He's back in the 10 and LOVING it. It looks really cheesy but its got plenty of swimming space and some gravel and rocks for land.

ANYWAY! Could I put 1 or 2 more in there? Its filtered and aerated.

I know it's an odd request, does anybody have any idea?

I mean I have a bubble "wand" and and air pump to oxigenate the water.

You might get more coverage in the viv or general fw sections. frogs are vertebrates.

I know that. Someone moved my post here. I felt really stupid because I do know that frogs have a backbone.

I'm gonna offer up a suggestion, not that I am keeping FBT's but my daughter has them and has successfully kept five in a 20 gallon for three years. All are healthy and seem to be doing great.

Split the 10 and make one side dry (she uses large pebbles so they can't be swallowed)and the other wet. Her's is about four inches of pebbles to three inches of water.
Put in a in the tank filter and remove the airstone. The water dropping from the filter should aeriate the water plenty.

Make sure they have something to hide in. My daughters love staying in the water while the lights are on.

I'm not saying this is the right way but it has worked well for her. She completly cleans this tank once a month it usually takes her about an hour. She adds water as needed when it evaporates.
