Hey I just got a maited pair of firefish and was wondering what they will eat, I have read they will eat pretty much everything, -- I have frozen Brine and Mysis to feed them-- will they also eat flaked food??

If they don't accept flaked food immediately, they will in time. In the wild, they are pretty much exclusively planktivorous--so mysids, daphnia, cyclopeeze, etc. all fit the bill quite well, in addition to enriched dried foods.
agreed unfortunately one of them is now dead, he never seemed too healthy from the beggining and was always near the bottom of the tank hiding and didn't come out too much. I found him dead today when I got home sadly!:cry:
I'm thinking it may have gotten caught by one of the emerald crabs or hermits cause when I got home they were eating it. -- The other one seems to be doing great though and he comes out alot and is not too shy!-- I hope he doesn't get caught to but he seems to swim around alot more so I'm hoping hes okay!
