Firefish Question

I understand a firefish will fight with its own kind unless they are a mated pair.

But what about different types of firefish.

Say a Firefish Goby, and a Purple Firefish and a Helfrichi's Firefish?

Will they cohabitate together in a 39 gallon aquarium?

Probably not. Most fish the fight with others of the same species are also aggressive with fish that a) look like them b) occupy the same niche. So, fish with similar body shapes, similar colors (even with very different body shapes), or the same food sources are most likely to fight.
